All this talk about cashback reminds me of the discussion of whether
you would rather play 9/7 DB with 1% cashback or 10/7 DB with 0.1%
cashback. I say if they want to give me a constant 1% I would go for
it. Of course, the cashback is nice because it shouldn't change the
strategy for a given game.
I looked for polls, but didn't find anything.

The key being your noting that the cash back should NOT change the
strategy as opposed to the other thread on the board. To even it off I
would want 1.1% cashback but I'm greedy

I agree that the cashback makes for a preferred game, the volatility is lowered a bit, BUT I have to disagree about the strategy statement.
There are a number of strategy changes between 9/7 and 10/7 DB.
