At another point on my trip last week, I was playing triple play DDB
at the $10 level, also at the Mirage. I was dealt 9d, 9s and 9c. On
the draw, I was dealt the 9h on all three hands for $7500.

Can any of our math whizzes tell me what the odds are of this occurring?

Thanks again.

Something else to consider -- you find you hold a dealt trip about
once every 47 hands. This means that you'll see this triple play feat
only once in about 610,000 deals (on average). That compares with
once in 649,000 deals for a dealt royal.

Here's to wishing Bob a similarly improbable hit next trip
