Cross-posted to the harrahscasinos Yahoo group:
I just received my first "First Class Cash" mailer based on my August
play at Harrah's Laughlin and thought it might be useful to summarize
the differences between "First Class Cash" and the old "Cash In Your
Mailbox" program:
Cash In Your Mailbox:
1 - Came in the from of a check to be taken to the cashier's cage
2 - Good for approximately twelve months
3 - Could be cashed at any casino in southern Nevada
4 - Equal to sum of base credits plus bonus credits divided by 450 (as
long as the sum was greater than 4500 credits)
First Class Cash
1 - Came in the form of a ticket voucher; instructions say it can be
inserted in any machine after inserting your TR card; I assume you can
then immediately cash out
2 - Good for approximately six months (mine came today and is good
till 3/31/2009)
3 - Can only be redeemed at Harrah's Laughlin
4 - Still equal to sum of base credits plus bonus credits divided by
450 (as long as the sum was greater than 4500 credits)
