CASH BONUS at Silver Legacy

I just got a mailing for a nice CASH bonus at Silver Legacy.
Valid July 1 - August 31. Not sure I'll be going during that time, :frowning:
$250 CASH to start with.
$250 more CASH after I accumulate 1250 points ($25,000 coin-in).

I know that those with smaller average daily coin-in might get $125 + $125 more
after 300(?) (or is it 600) points .
-OR-
Just the $125 after 300 points.

If you didn't get the oversized post-card in the mail, sometimes you can talk to a
Host or a promo desk manager and they will match an offer to your historic play level
with them, or at least they'll give you the minimum offer, methinks.

My offer included two free nights in a Spa Suite. Nice.

I got a $250 CASH deal from Peppermill, but it is good for July 30- Aug 1 only.

That's a very nice deal! We've recently started going there again, so I'm eager to see what we get. 300-400 points per day is more typical for us.

Did the mailer say anything about the new card system? I haven't seen anything official yet, just the article in their magazine.

No mention of the new card nor the new comp system.
The language on the card still uses the old standard language, like:
"All comps associated with this offer will be deducted from your Club Legacy acount."

That article makes the new system sound good. Swipe away your comps! and the tiers
of Baron and Sterling level.

Maybe I'll check their Club Legacy website for info via www.silverlegacy.com

The points you need to accumulate for the CASH bonus you can take 3 calendar days
to get.

Looks like they haven't updated it recently: http://www.silverlegacyreno.com/casino/club_legacy.php.

At the rate we play, that feels too much like work! But there's always the 50-play and 100-play nickel machines . . .

My guess is that we'll get the $50 offer; we've gotten it before. And, if so, we'll certainly use it! We normally go up to Reno for just a day, but Rich Little is going to be in town at the end of the month, so we may do an overnight. I've always wanted to see him.

Does Silver Legacy or other Reno casinos extend any such offer to 1st

multi-play format, MS, and Spin-Poker. I'll also play 10/6 DDB, SDB,

TIA:
These cash bonuses aren't necessarily common.
I know Peppermill only gives you cash incentives after you've played there.
SilverLegacy MIGHT- try signing up for the Legacy Card on their website, maybe that
alone generates offers. If you have that certain personal charm, you might be able to
talk a host or even a boothling into giving you the minimum current promo offer
after a day's play while you are on a trip. My Host once did this for a friend of mine ( a
somewhat new player) after a day's play: the Host introduced my friend to the
promotion desk supervisor and was told to contact her the next day to get the CASH
bonus slip.

I wouldn't expect anything if you are brand new.

Maybe you can get a head start if you play at casinos that have a branch in both
cities: Hilton? Harrah's But I really don't know -just some ideas.
Not too many dives if you go to the big places in Reno.

Hmm. With the state of affairs such that some casinos are laying off
clowns one would think they'd be eager for business, especially given
the competitive pressures of Indian casinos and riverboats. I'm not
going to try shmoozing as this usually doesn't work anyway. I'll just
be a polite educated consumer and give each an opportunity to offer me
a reasonable deal. Offering to comp my stay based on coin in is
perfectly reasonable, paying out-of-pocket irrespective of my play is
just out of the question even if it is my first stay.

Nope, not a match between places I play at elsewhere and Reno.
Besides, the few properties that are owned by the same parent company
have poor vp in one location or both and I depend on good vp where I'm
staying at to generate the comps.
