I went to the Caesars shopping spree last weekend to get in one last
trip before the conversion.
I finished play Saturday at 5 PM and cashed out totally at the slot
club at around 9PM.
By Sunday, most of the Forum side of the casino was shut down for
conversion to Total Rewards. But the Connection Club booth was
bustling, and for fun I put my card in the kiosk to check my comp
balance (it was about $360).
Lo and behold, I was also given the option of checking cash back,
which I thought would be zero. It wasn't - there was $22 there,
probably from computer "updating" after I had cashed out before. That
may not seem like much, but it was the result of thousands in play
times the .22% payback.
I agree with the strategy of periodically removing and reinserting
your card. Make that computer update more often so you get your money.
