The Carson Station used to be one of my favorite gambling stops. They would send me free rooms, food and free play, but for some reason it all just stopped, and so did I. We used to call it Pick'em Station, as they had perhaps 100 machines with full pay pick'em from nickels to dollars. I stopped by two weeks ago to take a look around, as it has been almost two years. I only saw two nickel pick'em left, and a couple of full pay pick a pair. I checked out a few other games, but it was all short pay. Certainly no exhaustive scouting, as I spent only about 10 minutes there. I don't have any information on Carson Gold Dust West.

That is now the Carson Gold Dust West. Funny, as the Pinion used to send me offers even though I had never been in the place, but they had the same ownership as the Carson Station. Another very interesting place was the Horseshoe (across from the Nugget) that offerd the Hi-Lo video poker game.. stickly a coin deal ($1). I need to get back there again and see if they still have it.
