Carnival/Venetian Offer

Both my bride & I got offers as past guests on Carnival Cruise Players
Club. We were each offered suites for 2-4 days, I also was offered a
dinner, gift basket, Gold status & $750 Slot Credit; she received a
gift basket & $150.

The only catch is that, according to the person I spoke to at the Club
Grazie, we each have to register for our own suite in order to use
both slot credits. It does seem kind of silly that they'd want a room
to be basically unoccupied, but I guess that's Casino marketing.

I don't mind doing that, but can anyone think of a downside here,
since we obviously are going to only use one room?

Why don't you register on consecutive nights (assuming your visit will be for more thanone night) and if you are lucky you can stay in the same room without moving? Will also give you a better average.

Sorry, I should have explained more clearly. We're already going out to LV from the 20th-25th, and are scheduled to stay at Caesar's (comped) all 5 nights. But I happened to open what I thought was junk mail & found these offers. So, I figured I'd cut my stay at Caesar's short by 2 days and go to the Venetian. But Venetian requires a 2 night minimum, and we have to stay at Caesars the first 3 days with some people we're meeting in LV.

I'm not really concerned about the average at Venetian, just looking to maximize the free slot credits. Tho' looking at the vpFREE2 database, they look like they have more playable games at the Venetian than at Caesars.
