Carburators and Flash Floods

Hey folks, get a grip, carburators went the way of the do do bird several
years back. Everyone these days deals with an electronic ignition system which
requires different considerations. Like computer driven sysems. Electronic
Fuel Jets and so forth. Check with your dealer or owner manual. Thanks for the
listen, Shirl in Las Vegas who used to be really up on automotive stuff and
racing, ladies, racing yet.

Perhaps you should loosen your grip  Even if every single car on
the planet made in 2003 uses fuel injection (and I'm skeptical of this
claim,) there are plenty of older cards on the road that were born
with carburetors. In fact, I own one, a '63 Studebaker Avanti.
I'd bet that Tom remembers Studebaker, but most of you youngsters
probably just said "a what?"

I vividly remember gawking over the car's unusual (for that time)
appearance with a group of teenage friends when they first came
out.
