If I'm in Las Vegas for less then a week, I have a limo pick me up and rent the car the next day at the hotel. Since all MGM properties have dollar rentals on site, the rental cost plus limo tip comes close to the same as if I rented at the airport.
My experience with the rental center was great using Dollar Express. The bus was waiting and I was in my car in minutes and that was after the rental center was only open 4 days.
