In the future, I will stick with one of the big boys that offer a
frequent renter's club....Ie) Hertz Gold, Budget Fastbreak, National
Emerald Aisle, Dollar Fastlane, Alamo Quicksilver, etc.
Enterprise at ANY airport location....never again.
I just got back from Vegas. I rented a car from Dollar and and have never ever been in an
airport shuttle and in the car turning onto Las Vegas Blvd so fast in my life! How about
fifteen minutes after landing? The new Car Rental facility is amazing and soooo easy. The
return was just as easy and painless and I was on a shuttle within 4 minutes of dropping
off the car.
First of all it might help to explain that I signed up for Dollar Express service on the Dollar
website. It is free to join and all it does is takes all your information (preferences, credit
card...etc) so that when you book your car it is literally waiting for you when you check in
at the Car Rental agency. You skip the lines (and there was a huge one as I walked past it)
and go to the dedicated Express check-in.
I have tried a lot of the other Car rental agencies and though there can be someone a little
cheaper by a couple of bucks a day (such as Thrifty's or Enterprise), Dollar,in my
experience has been consistent in service and I have always had good deals on the
vehicles. I had a compact car ( a newish Dodge Caliber) for $18.00 a day for a total of
$84.00 all in for three days. No one else seemed to better the deal at the time when I
booked which was back in early April.

Thanks Mo.
AS a Dollar Express member do they still let you pick your car, or is it assigned already? Easiest car upgrade anywhere used to be slipping 10 bucks to the Express agent and driving out in a Chrysler 300 - at a compact price!

Yes they do Jigger. I was told that the economy cars were in the last row and that I could
pick anyone of them. The keys were inside the car already. I chose a red shiny new looking
Dodge Caliber from the selection that included PT Cruisers, I think.

What did he expect for $13 a day to get. All of the facilities are now
located in a brand new facility. It is lightyears better than what was
there before.
