So...when you use these codes, for instance, reserving a car over the
interenet, would you ever be asked to "prove" the code you used when you check in at
the rental place? For example, an AARP code would require someone showing an

I have used codes gleaned from the internet (search for them) and have
never been asked for proof of membership, in fact was never mentioned
