Can't listen to Bob Dancer's show

The live show won't play for me the last 3 weeks. No problems with the podcasts posted the next day.
Anyone else havie this problem?

Do you mean you can't hear over the radio station 1230 AM or you can't hear over the website www.klav1230am.com?

Sounds like he meant the stream on the internet. I know the last couple weeks I had some trouble also, but last night was loud and clear, and the website seemed to be using something different. It looked different anyway.

The live website simulcast on KLAV.
It's been down for me the last 4 weeks. No big problem though as I can listen to the podcast the next day.
BTW that woman you had on last show was by far the funniest guest you ever had on.
You've covered so many topics how about an exclusively Reno show?

Our guest this past week, Cat Hulbert, has generated a lot more comment than most --- pro and con but mostly pro. She was a handful. She'd get off-topic sometimes and Munch or I would need to reel her back in --- and the producer was ready with the delete button because she uses "colorful" language sometimes. Both Munchkin and I enjoyed the show --- but it was a workout for us.

Reno would be an interesting topic. On this forum I assume you are talking about video poker in Reno, yes? We'd need a guest (probably a professional or semi-pro player) who was knowledgeable about the various casinos in greater Reno (possibly including Carson City/Tahoe etc.) on several levels --- from 25c to $5. I personally do not have such expertise --- although I certainly know enough to have some good questions.

If there is such a person out there who thinks they would be good on the radio --- under your own name or under a pseudonym --- contact me at gamblingwithanedge@gmail.com

Thanx to your suggestion we've scheduled a Reno guest for the May 9 show. It will be a split show with another guest as well. Probably.

I'm calling the prospective guest tomorrow and "pretending" to do an interview in order to judge whether he will be good on the air or not. And I can't announce his name until I know whether he prefers to come on the air under a pseudonym or not. (He may well decide to come on the air as "Reno Ron," or something like that.)

Munchkin and I are open to other prospective show ideas as well. Relatively few of the shows will be about video poker simply because it's hard to turn a show about the subject into compelling radio.
