Can casinos track player error rates?

As a matter of fact they do. At least a number of them have. Casinos generally "ban" high limit players by simply not allowing them any slot club benefits. Since the best games at those denoms are almost always Jacks or Better, or maybe NSU Deuces, this effectively removes them as players. Besides the MGM as mentioned, LVH and the V have done this to a number of other high limit players (including BD). I'm sure there are others.
  It's almost always based on something really dumb, such as a couple of players hitting big royals. The fact that anybody that shoves enough money into a $25 machine will eventually hit a $100,000 royal, doesn't appear to matter. When a whole bunch of money goes out the door in a short time, mid-level management has to do something so they will look like they're doing something. Casinos are just like any other corporation.When something goes wrong (and paying a number of hundred grand jackpots is definitely wrong from the casino's viewpoint), everyone wants to cover their a--.
