Can anyone give me advice about real estate in Vegas?

I dont agree with that statement. I own a house in Green Valley ranch , and
that area is the best !

Nah. We own a condo at Lake Las Vegas, and I therefore will insist that THAT area is best. (OK, so technically, that's not in Las Vegas. But, I am loath to pass up the opportunity to mention that we now own a condo at Lake Las Vegas.)

China, FWIW, both Green Valley Ranch and Lake Las Vegas are sections of Henderson. Money Magazine recently listed Henderson as the 20th best city in the country to live (and Las Vegas didn't make the list). Regardless. both are very nice, but they're different. Green Valley Ranch is better if you want a good mix of urban amenities and accessibility to the rest of the valley. Lake Las Vegas is better if you want a resort community.

Alternately, I know you're considering Summerlin, which is a section of the city of Las Vegas. IMHO Summerlin is better for those women who like always having to be dressed up and wearing make-up when you go to the supermarket.

John, best wishes with your new condo!
