Calling All Mac Computer Wizards

I had WinPoker installed on my PC. I bought a MacBook Pro. I was told by ZamZone who sold me the program they cannnot install it on Mac because it is not designed for that. WinPoker means Windows Poker not Win at Poker according to them. I know it is possible to install Window programs on Mac because I have done research on it. My question is has anyone installed WinPoker on their Mac or are they using something compatible for their MacBook?

Install windows on your mac via boot camp or parallels. Then install
winpoker. Restart and run mac and windows. winpoker will only operate on the windows partition.

I think I qualify as a Mac Computer Wizard...
boot camp is free from Apple
Parallels costs money
a better solution is Virtualbox
http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.0.4/VirtualBox-4.0.4-70112-OSX.dmg
Realize that in all cases you must have a copy of Winows to install.
Mac makes it easy.

I also just bought a Macbook Pro (and I absolutely love it, by the way). I have a copy of Windows XP Pro, and my plan was to install it via the free Boot Camp utility that comes pre-installed on the MBP. Surprise, surprise, Boot Camp does not support Windows XP. It only supports Windows 7 which, in my opinion, is pure trash.

My new plan of attack is to purchase VMWare Fusion and use it to install XP Pro. Like the other poster stated, you can use Parallels or Boot Camp (assuming you have Windows 7) to achieve the same results. But after doing my research, I've concluded that VMWare Fusion is the best option for me.

VirtualBox is better and free-er than parallels. If you need install instructions email me. I've done hundreds of setups on all OS.

A little belated, just now unwinding from a twenty day trip to Las Vegas and Laughlin.

I was playing one of my favorite machines at the EC, where I had my only dealt Royal for $4700 several years ago, coin dropper Kings or better Joker. Dealt three top diamonds, held KAJ from KAxxJ, drew the diamond Queen and Joker. Fist pumped in triumph, machine said winner paid $5!! Eh? I missed the button when attemting to hold the diamond Jack. Turned on the service light, some 20 minutes later a supervisor okayed the payment of the $495 difference to me. And...........a few days later someone was playing the machine, so I played a coin dropper DDB machine down the row. Dealt a hand with three Jacks, drew the fourth jack for a $15 payout!! missed another button. This time it was quite a bit faster to receive the $235 difference.
