Cal + Binion's and Now Also Palms and Rampart

Cal - I took another look at the USA Poker at the Cal
today and the straight flush does pay 200 for one coin
and 1000 for five coins on these.

The two new All-Star Poker machines also have
SpinPoker with $1/$2 9/6 JoB.

The 9/5 SDB I mentioned is on a few machines in
25c/50c/$1.

All this isn't really big news because the Cal has had
$1 and up 9/6 JoB multiline for a few years and there
are better 25c/50c/$1 single-line games than 9/5 SDB
there. All are in the vpFREE database.

So here's what's been recently reported new at the
Cal.

99.7% 9/5 SDB
25c/50c/$1 MG/MD/TITO uprights in alcoves overlooking
craps pit

99.6% USA Poker

99.5% 9/6 JoB
(2) $1/$2 3/5/10 Play MG/MD/TITO slant-tops near main
cashier

99.5% 9/6 JoB
(2) $1/$2 Spin Poker MG/MD/TITO slant-tops near main

Binion's - Per the slot club they are planning on
sending a February mailer to Las Vegas locals.

Palms - As Miss Craps posted here, the Palms Buffet
closed for renovations today at 3:00 pm. An employee
told me they "hope" to reopen mid -April.

Rampart - Saw a sticker on some slot machines saying
they can't be used to redeem "promo points". Maybe
that means they are going to start giving free play
for the bounceback soon.

They were out of Target and Starbucks gift cards this
afternoon. Not sure, but I don't think they are
issuing rain checks for them.

I've just recently started going to the Rampart after many years away. How much play is needed for free play and/or bounceback? I couldn't find it in the database (nor in their slot club literature). Are coupons mailed out like Coast and Stations?

I've just recently started going to the Rampart after many years

away. How

much play is needed for free play and/or bounceback? I couldn't

find it in

the database (nor in their slot club literature). Are coupons

mailed out

like Coast and Stations?

I quit them for the second time after one haggle too many with the
booth. It's the fourth worst booth to deal with in town (after
Garbaggio, which gets the gold, the silver and the bronze).
Essentially, the way I understand it, BB is .4 to $300, at $75/week,
30-day average. If you don't cash your coupons on time, you're SOL. If
they go to downloading credits from the machine, I may reconsider
going back there.
