Not too surprised by the statement. After all lots of corporations make mistakes when it comes to the mindset of players. In 1978 Si Redd parted ways with Bally--he was given $7.5 million plus 10 years worth of rights to some dust-gathering video games. That's keno, blackjack and video poker. (They both managed to sue each other, Redd prevailed--afterwards Bill O'Donnell and Si Redd went out to dinner.)

Absolutely! 1% of any positive number is greater than 5% of zero. Throngs milling about the Strip and downtown aren't as profitable as a crowded gaming floor.
