[CaesarsMGM] Re: 7* Retreat

Am I correct in thinking that if you don’t use comps much and prefer free play, then your best choice (for the Vegas special promotion) is to take the $900 in free play since 120k reward credits (now called Caesar Rewards) would only be $600 in free play at the current redemption rate for everyone - no premium for 7* - is 200 reward credits to get $1 in free play.

Wonder what your options would be if you are a Vegas local and thus would not have an airline receipt but you wanted to use your retreat at a Las Vegas property??? Last December they did have this $900 option for a limited time in December.

The Seven Stars® Retreat includes airfare worth up to $1,200 for round-trip coach tickets, round-trip transportation between the airport and hotel, up to four nights of complimentary accommodations and a $500 dining folio. You can book this through your Host or by calling (877) 7-PLAYER.

As a special promotion, if you redeem your Retreat for a stay in Las Vegas now through September 1, 2019 and book your own flight, we will reimburse you with 120,000 Reward Credits® or $900 in casino play. We’ll give you the full amount even if you pay less for your flight.* To take advantage of this promotion, follow the steps below:

  1. Call your Host or the VIP services hotline (877) 7-PLAYER to reserve your room in Las Vegas.
  2. Book your own flight with the airline of your choice.
  3. While at the casino during your stay, visit any Las Vegas Caesars Rewards Center with your airfare receipt and let them know you are on your Seven Stars Retreat.
  4. Choose either $900 in casino play or - back by popular demand - 120,000 Reward Credits as reimbursement for your airfare.

They require an airline ticket receipt and will not give you the credit without one. It can be any amount, even just a charge for tax/fees as my wife flies as a companion with no charge except fee. 2 years ago they did this and didn’t require a copy of the airfare, that has since changed.

Interesting … so that suggests that were we to book Bev’s 7* trip to LV in May and I ticket her via a $99 companion fare ticket, she should be good in terms of this offer. (?)
