The rate is not bad but going to a Canadian bank is better. Here is a link to their site that shows their current exchange rate.

Here is the converter for TD bank. It gives a slightly better exchange.

I lso checked Bank of America and their rate is the worst of the three.

My advice is if you are going to be changing a significant amount of money go to a Canadian bank.

We will be in Canada for a long weekend coming from Ohio. Our first night will be spent at Caesars and I'm wondering if the cashier at the casino is a good place to exchange US dollars for Canadian?

I exchanged US dollars into Canadian dollars at the casino in Niagara Falls and had to pay the exchange fee (about 3% each transaction) both when I initially changed the dollars and when I changed my Canadian dollars back into US dollars. Not a very desirable event.
