We played yesterday almost right up to the strike deadline, but shortly after we left they did tentatively reach agreement and so they didn’t close at midnight as scheduled. This time they had also emptied the hotel rooms and not allowed anyone to check in yesterday so they wouldn’t be caught in the bad situation they had last time they had a strike where they had to make people leave due to the strike.
We go to CW less than 1/2 as often as we used to since they began running off its patrons by permantely closing the only café to eat in (Artists Café) and closing most of the rest of the restaurants AND the Diamond lounge except on weekends, and stopped giving us 7 star annual gifts (only available two specific days when most retirees up here in the North are in Florida, etc. for the winter months). When we do go, its like a ghost town (which actually we like).
