Caesars Tahoe update

Caesars - oh my gosh - I thought they started the transfer in
November - it's March and probably still 1/3 of the floor is empty.
The remodel inside looks nice - real trendy "cool" look - the kind or
look that's hot enough to be outdated in 7 or 8 years and need
another.

They have no hosts and only a temporary sports book with an easel for
odds and on the other side it a one person counter for the slot card -
and the guy running it is about as low level a boothling as you've ever
talked to.

I'm hoping Caesars will ramp back up once they get machines on the
floor - they aren't going to try and run a place that expensive without
hosts are they?

Ouch. I was wondering what was going at Caesars Tahoe. I am used to
getting wonderful offers from them, but the last offer expired in
December. It sounds like it is just as well that I have not been at
Caesars. I guess it must take awhile to rub Caesars side view off
everywhere in the hotel/casino. So, is the MontBlu sign up anywhere
yet?

No new signage outside yet but I did see a big interior sign
somewhere. But only one I think.

I don't know whether to mentally give up on them or to hope that they
are just not sending out offers while replacing machines and
remodeling and that after everything's up and running they will start
up again. Right now, it's not a destination they really want to
advertise - no sprots book, no card booth, 30% of the floor empty etc.

I got an April offer for a room for one night from Caesars (weak
based on my play)but nothing else since October. I stayed next door
this past trip - got 5 nights, airfare, and some food...and THAT was
based on the play THEY saw I gave Caesars on my last trip - they got
that info after they bought Caesars. Kind of odd that the competition
offers 5 nights, food and airfare and Caesars offers one night, no
food, no cash.
