Caesars Seven Stars

I just went over 100,000 tier points for 2011 last Tuesday. I thought the Seven Stars status would kick in automatically but I see online that I am still just Diamond. Do you have to ask for the bump? I see in the rules that you have to be a member "in good standing". Maybe I'm not?

7* virgin last year. Upgrade took about a month.

You can read about process in previous threads. There's a harrah's thread if you search. There's a harrah's group. There's an "independent newsletter" (seven stars insider) which is somewhat helpful. Here's a quote:
"....Just earning 100,000 tier points in a calendar year does not automatically grant you Seven Stars status. You must be invited to join! Also, once you achieve 100,000 points, it can take a couple weeks to get your credentials. The reason for the delay is that Caesars checks to make sure you don't have any outstanding financial obligations to the company, and that you don't have any complaints for disruptive behavior...."

Will be no longer be sleeping with Harrah's in 2012 as so far only 20% to 7*. Also, got assigned to Ceasar's in AC. Had been to AC once in 2010 and not our cup of tea.
Couldn't get re-assinged but didn't try that hard.

The annual trip had value to us. The long gone 9/6 JB multistrike fondly remembered. Amicable divorce.

Yes, it takes about two weeks for them to process you into Seven Stars. You'll know when they do by the Seven Stars logo when you log into your account online. It may be up to a month before they send you the kit in the mail.

Just go to the reward center and ask for your 7* card. Otherwise it can take 6-8
weeks for you to get it by snail mail. Hope this helps.

It appears I "assumed" the process for 7* would be the same as diamond. Wrong !!
Sorry. Hank

Thanks for all the replies to my questions about Seven Stars status. I sent
an email to the host who has been sending me her business card from the
casino where I have been doing the majority of my play recently.

I am late in posting this, but I was just going to say that the host was able to get my Seven Stars status updated on her first work day after my request. I just got the booklet in the mail today. Thanks to those that provided informational assistance.
