Caesars Palace Video Poker

The only playable video poker at Caesars Palace is 9/6 Jacks or Better or 8/5 Bonus at $5.00 single line according to the data base.

Is anyone aware of any games that are almost as good? I am interested in multi-line games, spin poker, or super times pay at lower denominations. Since we will be staying at CP, I would like to play there as much as I can. Although I plan to play some $5.00 Jacks or Better, I would like a back up plan just in case of significant losses. Would I be better off just playing the slots?

There's nothing worth playing at any Harrah's properties. They're going
to keep cutting payouts until they have no customers left. Hopefully,
they'll start selling off their properties to someone that will give
us back our normal payouts.

Other than the games you mentioned, all other VP offerings are worse than
98% return. FYI, don't expect bonus RCs for your $5 JOB play. You'll get
the base credits, but probably zero bonus. Might as well play slots, at
least you'll have some entertainment value as well as earning bonus RCs for
your comps.

Or you can just stiff them and play at the Palms or Wynn or Palazzo.

There is at least one 9-5 Jacks multiline there (you're going to have
to find it on your own), and one 99% paytable (with 3.75% theo, not
good enough to play IMHO) in the joint.

God help me if I mention it, slots will downgrade it within 24 hours.

The 9-6 Jacks probably has 1% theo, maybe a little more since the 8-5
BP is also on the machine. But certainly no more than 1.5%, which is a
loser.

I won't reveal the location. But most "bargains", like this (and the
one lower denom 8/5 Bonus across the street at Harrahs) are usually
taken and rarely available even if you wait. So do yourself a favor
and don't plan a trip (even just driving a short distance at close to
$4/gallon) around any specific machine. You'll end up playing a
poorer paytable out of frustration which is exactly what the casino
wants you to do.

I agree completely with that assessment. Most of the Harrah's LV casinos have a couple of
99+% machines around. But, with them being almost fully monopolized it is completely
unwise to plan a trip around those them. It is just not worth it.
