Hi,
Just got back yesterday from 4 days in LV, staying at Caesars Palace. Although the Total Rewards system is mind-numbing and frustrating, it was overall a good trip.
Inventory tweaks not listed in the database:
- The (10) $0.25 single-line NSUD uprights near the Elton John store are no longer there. They have been moved to the Forum Casino near the parking entrance, and now there's only (8) of them.
- The (5) $0.25 3/5-play JOB uprights near the Elton John store are no longer there. They have been moved along the wall of the food court near the parking entrance, now making a total of (9) such machines in a nice little row there.
- Unless we were just sloppy in our checking, I believe there are actually (6) $1 NSUD uprights in the Palace Casino near the Roman Tower elevators -- not (5) as noted in the database. This is in addition to the (6) NSUD slant-tops that remain nearby.
- For those who prefer slightly more "exclusive" surroundings, there are (10) $1/2/5 JOB slant-tops in the "sorta high limit" slot area in the Palace Casino, adjoining the walkway that goes by Cleopatra's Barge -- this isn't the "real" high limit slot area (Palace Court), but feels more high-limity than the main casino areas.
- At least (2) of the Flex Play machines -- one on the wall of the Shadow Bar, one in the Palace Casino near the cigar shop -- offer the ever-popular $1 JOB 2-play.
Obligatory sob story:
Just a couple hours into our visit, playing $0.25 5-play Super Times Pay, I was awarded a 10X multiplier, and dealt 4-to-a-royal (plus a 5th card that completed the flush). Bemoaned the missed $50,000 payoff. Held the 4 cards, and drew... total garbage. Bemoaned the 5 missed tries at $10,000 each. Bemoaned the lost $375 for the dealt flush. Ordered a drink. Probably won't get that opportunity ever again. (Although Multistrike has similarly taunted me on the 8x line, so who knows, maybe...)
