Caesars Palace increasing coin-in requirement for tier credits

Reportedly Caesars Palace in Las Vegas is now only giving 1 tier credit for every $25 played on video poker. This has been 1 tier credit per $10 coin-in on video poker so this would be a huge change in the negative direction for VP players. Can anyone confirm this?

It was reported on the group earlier, so I assume the information is correct.

I was there around July 4th and the way people were watching the points meters like the countdown clock on new year's eve, I wouldn't be surprised if other CZR properties make the same change. I lost track of the number of people I heard mention that they hit 500pts, cash out, and leave.

Points are irrelevant. What matters is the theo of the machine, its impact on your ADT, and mail offers. If you play s bunch s host will comp younto whatever you want. Points are nothing.

Mohegan Sun in CT now has no points for the "better" machines. That includes ~100% pickem down to ~98% 9/5 JB.
You do have a point (pardon the pun).

vpbp2002- For you points are nothing, for some points are everything.
How many points do you have this year?

I believe they are lowering the ADT of these machines as well.
Last time I played I checked with the host. I played the same machines the same amount of coin in for the same amount of time. My ADT was 1/2 of the previous visit. So YES everything matters!

Not so irrelevant if you were playing these machines during drawings...

A truism?

The reduction of comp's (and pay-tables) at casinos is market-wide. It has been going on for many years now. We all long for and dream about how it was "in the good old days" (whenever they were).

It is up to each of us to find where our own level of satisfaction is, either accepting and continuing (for as long as we find it satisfactory) or leaving.

As I wax philosophical, remember, it is up to each one of us.

(Thought for the day, week. month, year? LOL)

Another possibility is too boycott Vegas during say July? We would find out if we have any impact on the bottom line?

Or just one casino or organization!

There's still a lot of fair bets in Vegas, Reno and Laughlin. Not to mention out of state. Not so much in Northeast.
No reason to jump the VP ship unless you yearn for $100/hour.

This thread concerned Total Rewards per subject line. Many are upset with where TR is apparently heading. Should be more concerned with an inventory of only <99% games. Caesar customers should act with their feet and get outta those joints. Don't drink the poison.
Get a divorce.
There's life after Total Rewards.

Philly/AC is the hot spot of the world this summer. It's so hot Vegas Dancer hooked up with a tweaker he met online just to get in on some of the action. Hey tweaking and gambling just go together for some reason.
