The new Augustus tower, I hear, has some very sweet rooms. Haven't had the
pleasure of staying in one yet. If you can swing it, I'd go for one of
those. Previously the best standard rooms were in the Palace tower. These
are very nice and would be my second choice.
20K per day should get you the Palace tower. It does me, though I did have
to whine a bit when they overbooked last May, and it certainly doesn't rate
much personal attention. I often hear stories of people who have
succesfully greased the palm of a Caesars front desk clerk, though I have
never done so myself.

Subject: [vpFREE] Caesars LV Towers
I'm going to the Caesars LV "Roman Holiday" slot tourney on Dec 11-13.
It comes with 2 nights comped. When I reserved, they asked me if I had
a tower preference, & I didn't remember which was best. Last time I was
at Caesars, I stayed in the tower where the elevators were near Ogden &
the slot club booth. The room had a jacuzzi & a view of the Eiffel
Tower, very nice, but I forget the name of the tower.
Can anyone suggest which tower I should request? Any suggestions on
whether it's worth it to slip a $20 at registration to ask for a better
room?
(In the past, I've played $20K/day, which didn't seem enough to get me
any special treatment.)
Thanks,
Stuart (RandomStu)
