With much sadness at the ravaging of NYNY (haven't even gotten any
*mailers* from them in months!) my wife and I are considering trying
Caesars on our next trip in late January. My questions:
1) Any recommendations on hosts to cold-call?
2) What kind of comps could we expect on $20-25K coin-in/day of VP?
(Plus a couple hours/day of table play, typically $10-20/hand Pai Gow
Poker, though we figure that's worth roughly zero...)
3) Any other info I should know about the property? (We know the
general VP inventory.)
I did recently receive a mailer from Caesars for 2 days at "promotional
rate" and up to 3 more at "casino rate" -- whatever those are -- plus
$50 comp credit, based (presumably) on some light play in October...
don't know if accepting that offer from Marketing is better or worse
than trying to work through a host at this point.
(BTW, yes, I've read the vpFREE casino report for CPLV, just wondering if anyone has any additional insight before I try calling.)
