Thanks you for the information. We used to go to Majestic Star quite
a bit but have relocated to the west of Chicago making it a little
bit too far for it to be a regular trip. I'm waiting to hear back
from my host at Caesars regarding our visit. Blue Chip in Michigan
City had 9/6 $1 JoB when we were there about 4 months ago also.
Horeshoe in Hammond also has 9/6 JoB progressive for .25, these are
MG machines that also have progressive NSUD on them. Also the high
limit area has those same games $2/$5/$10 multi play machines. I will
update on construction if I go to Caesars. Peoria this weekend.
Thanks again.

Yes, my trips from Indy always involve an overnight stay at their wonderful hotel (which I always describe as similar to a low-end Days Inn); from west side of Chicago, that might be neceesary for you too - I mentioned it because I didn't know you were aware of them, and it's a lot closer than Caesars!

Thanks for the info on Blue Chip; I'd been there once briefly to play poker and a quick walk-around didn't find the $1 JoB. Likewise, the Horseshoe, where all I knew about was the $2 3-play in the high limit area. Guess I need to check the database before I go to these places, but in the first case, I was there for poker, and in the second, a friend dragged me there for the free shrimp in the high limit area.

I will likely give the Horseshoe some action when they open their poker room, reportedly late this summer, and if so, will certainly check out the $0.25 VP, although $1 is my preferred level of play, sometimes $0.25 is good for less serious breaks.

Hadn't planned to go back to Blue Chip, but will give it some thought.

Problem with Horseshoe is I still need a place to stay, and they are NOT adding a hotel with their remodel, as I understand it.

Too bad, I'd like to put in some TR action someplace with full pay, and use some of my comps for the room, if there was one.
