       New Caesars Entertainment MasterCard

              from Juniper Bank leads the

       charge with expanded customer rewards

Las Vegas and Wilmington, Del., December 8, 2003 - The new Caesars
Entertainment MasterCard debuts today, offering expanded rewards to
loyal customers of Caesars, Bally's, Paris, Flamingo and Grand Casinos
resorts.

The Caesars-branded MasterCard will be issued by Juniper Bank, a leading
full-service credit card issuer, based in Wilmington, Delaware, in
cooperation with Park Place Entertainment Corporation, one of the
world's leading gaming companies. On January 6, 2004, Park Place
officially will change its name to Caesars Entertainment, Inc.

The Caesars Entertainment MasterCard substantially expands the power of
the company's Connection Card customer loyalty program by offering
consumers the opportunity to earn "comp dollars" each time they use
their new credit card.

Comp dollars earned with the Caesars Entertainment MasterCard can be
used to pay for hotel rooms, dining, show tickets, spa services, golf
tee times and other amenities at 15 domestic casino resorts. These
resorts are located in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, the Mississippi Gulf
Coast, the northern Mississippi-Memphis market, the southern
Indiana-Louisville market, northern Nevada, New Orleans, Louisiana, and
Laughlin, Nevada.

Cardholders using the Caesars Entertainment MasterCard will:

* Earn 10 comp dollars the first time they use the card.
* Earn a one percent comp dollar credit for any purchases made
with the card.
* Be able to use their comp dollars at 15 of the company's
domestic resorts.

The Caesars MasterCard will feature a zero percent introductory rate on
balance transfers for six months and a 12.99 percent variable APR
thereafter. There is no annual fee.

Through the gaming resort company's existing "Connection Card" loyalty
program, guests earn a bank of comp dollars that can be spent like cash
to purchase hotel, restaurant, entertainment and retail privileges at 15
domestic Caesars, Bally's, Paris, Flamingo and Grand Casinos resorts.
Members earn rewards through slot machine and table game play, as well
as through hotel cash folio charges.

Connection Card members who use their Caesars MasterCard to pay for a
hotel stay at a participating property will receive the one percent
credit in comp dollars, in addition to the three percent hotel rewards
benefit the Connection Card program currently offers. (Some Connection
Card benefits differ and may vary by property).

"We were the first major casino company to include hotel rewards in our
customer loyalty program," said Steve Rosen, the company's senior vice
president for marketing. "Now, we've expanded those rewards so that the
23.5 million members of the Connection Card program can earn comp
dollars wherever they are, whenever they want. They can do all their
holiday shopping and use their rewards to enjoy a Vegas getaway this
winter."

The Caesars Entertainment MasterCard is a joint venture of Park Place
Entertainment and Juniper Bank, both of whom are recognized leaders in
consumer relationship marketing. In 2003, Park Place earned top honors
for delivering the best online customer experience in the casino resort
industry, and was named "Best Web Site" in the gaming industry by the
American Gaming Association. Juniper recently won the International
Silver ECHO Award for a direct marketing campaign targeting prospective
credit card users.

"We selected Juniper Bank as our financial services partner because of
Juniper's demonstrated commitment to superior customer care and their
proven ability to engage consumers through innovative marketing," said
Rosen. "The new Caesars MasterCard is an important step in our programs
designed to win and retain customer loyalty."

1% rewards, but must be used only on their stuff? what's the
incentive to use it???

It's worst than the other rewards cards since other cards give you
cash, thus flexibility.

And if u have a Shell gas station near you, this is one of the better
cards:
Shell gas card is 5% on shell gas, 1% on everything else. Rewards
must be used on Shell gas, but at least u get 5%.
