Caesars Downgrading - And Comps...

I was at Caesars over the weekend and was not surprised by what I saw.

Yes, some of the same full-pay machines are still there - the two
Super Times Pay (Jacks only), the NSUD in the Roman Tower, etc.

But, look closely at any machine you play there. Many former 9/6
Jacks are now 9/5, the former 9/6 DDB in High Limit is now 9/5 and
the paytables can change as denominations change. You literally have
to examine every payoff from top to bottom. Never assume.

Comp-wise, Harrahs says you have to deplete your Total Rewards
account entirely before the host pick up anything. What they won't
tell you is that's UNLESS you are booked with the comps already
provided in the reservation. NEVER call direct marketing to set up
anything at a Harrahs property - always reserve through a host. My
food and beverage came right off the bill when charged because I set
that up ahead of time. And no TR points were deducted. So, get a host
that cooperates. Otherwise, Harrahs will give you the same old
story, "Your Total Rewards account has to pay for your comps".

Is that spelled baloney or bologna?

Neither. It's spelled bull$h!t.
