Caesars Downgrades Not Universal

It's been confirmed by SEVERAL players this past week that there is at
least 1 bank (possibly up to 3 banks) of $1/$2/$5 MD/MG machines with
9/6 JOB, 8/5 BP, and 9/7 DB. All reports are from the PALACE Casino.
Latest report was from a visit this morning.

Until we receive specifics on exact locations we cannot update the
Caesars Palace pages.

Hi All,

Just back from three nites at Caesars. I found 8 machines in the
Palace Casino which were $1/$2/$5 MD/MG which had Job 9/6 at all
denominations. 8/5 BP and 9/7 DB were on the same machines but only at
the $5 level, not on the $1/$2 levels. There were also 2 3Play/5Play
machines at the end of one bank which had the same pay tables as the
single line machines. (Gave this info to the Casino Moniter). I
couldn't find any other machines at Caesars in the quarter/half/dollar
range which had anything close to full pay. I didn't check every VP
machine there but all of the machines we played in July were short pay.

These 10 machines were very busy but we were always able to get a
machine with a minimal wait. The people I chatted with were not
looking for FP machines, just machines in a nice location. Saw one
$20,000 Royal on the $5/5 Play and 3 other Jack Pots in the space of
about an hour. Unfortunately none were mine!!!!!!

Service was wonderful, food was great, room was great, saw Celine
Dion and had lots of fun. The Diamond Lounge was packed most of the
time. Looked like many people were eating meals there.

Spent half a day at Wynn's, joined their Slot Club and will see if
we played enough to get an offer. Liked their Casino and who knows,
this may become home as there are more FP machines there than Caesars
(as far as I could see). Also spent a day at the Palms and enjoyed
their Casino and FP machines.

Take Care, Mike

Tonight there are signs on at least two banks of multi-denom NSUD (the ones right north of the Sports Bar and the ones near the Ice Cream Shop) that at 1 AM, the machines will be shut down to lower the paytables. (Okay, the signs really say that the games are being made "up-to-date," but we know what that means.) Soon, there won't be any NSUD above quarters. I wonder if even the quarters will survive -- no signs on those machines yet. On a good note, though, the food discounts are continuing through December 21.

Paris has the best atmosphere and best bar, closely followed by Caesars.
Harrah's has the heartiest food.

SHHHHH! <smile> I'll never tell!

We did have a great Thanksgiving holiday there, though. Got back last night.

We only found 1 of the "banks" and had four $ RF's creating four W2-G's that were a nice
surprise (and there did seem to be a large number of "hand-pays while we were there).
Two by my younger son, 1 by my older son, and 1 by my "better half". I lived up to my
"name", by not being able to join in the "royal" festivities.

Sounds like we were there at about the same time. Some of those jackpots you saw might
have been my wife or sons (but not the $5 one).

For what it is worth, our preferences are CP and Paris.

I think Caesars is hands down the best Diamond Club lounge in LV. It's
a bright, large, happy place with good foo-foo food and 3 broadband
internet stations.

Harrah's DC lounge is very nice and has a totally different ambiance -
smaller & softly lit and the food is more deli style.

Congradulations - must have been fun. You must have been on the
other side. We were on the side with the 3Play/5Play machines.
There were two guys playing those machines and they both hit
Jackpots. One was the $20,000 Royal while playing $5/5 Play (didn't
check which game) and the other was for about $2000 which consisted
of 3 quads and something else on the same machine about an hour
later. Never seen 3-quads pulled on the same draw before. Wonder
what the probability of that happening is???

Just returned from the Suncoast. There are no $2 NSUDs anywhere on the
casino floor. The multidenominational machines that are $.50/$1/$2 have
been shorted to the 98.91% version, at all levels.

Goodbye Suncoast!
