Caesars Atlantis Benefit

As a Seven Stars, I was recently getting ready to schedule our trip to Atlantis and noticed two things:

  1. The Experience Pass is no longer included. This was a valuable benefit that included one entry to the Dolphin Encounter, a round of golf, and several drinks in the restaurants.

  2. In the fine print, I noticed this sentence which I don’t recall from previous years: “If you accept this offer and do not show any rated casino play, the Atlantis may charge you for some or all of your upfront complimentaries including rooms, food & drink, limos, etc.” I play very little when I go to Atlantis, so this worries me.

Has anyone been to Atlantis through the Caesars Rewards program since 2-1-19? How much “rated casino play” is required–$1? $10,000?

Max

I’m not going until the end of May, but my take is that the key part is “no rated play”, meaning it’s only going to be a problem if you stiff them completely.

However, it seems that they are normally looking for six hours of rated play. Not really sure how that translates into machine play coin in, but you could always call and ask.

Here’s the fine print I got when I booked:

Your stay at Atlantis is subject to important legal terms and conditions that affect your legal rights and mandate disputes be resolved exclusively before a court in The Bahamas. Read carefully Atlantis’ Terms and Conditions which can be found at www.atlantisbahamas.com/terms.
Complimentary offers are based on your previous level of casino play. If you are a new or inactive Atlantis casino guest your upfront complimentaries are based on your rated play from your primary casino.
If you redeem this complimentary offer you are expected to play to the same level of casino play or greater. If you do not play or show reduced casino play you may be charged for some or all of your upfront complimentaries including rooms, food & beverage, limos, etc. If you need additional clarification, please contact Casino VIP Services or your Player Development Executive.
Customers receiving room reservations at a special casino rate must record 4 hours of rated play over the duration of their stay. If 4 hours of play is not generated, the special casino rate will be changed to the Casino promotional rate. The nightly promotional rates are: The Beach/The Coral $200, The Royal $300 and The Cove/The Reef $450. Additional room taxes and fees apply.
Must be 18 years of age to gamble in the casino.
Guests must be a minimum of 18 years of age and present valid ID and credit card at check-in.
Guest’s valid ID must match the first and last name on the hotel reservation. If the guest whose name is on the reservation is not present at check-in, the room rate will be changed to the current rack rate.
A credit card deposit is required at check-in. An authorization will be obtained on your credit card for the amount of any “cash” room rates per night, plus taxes and service fees, plus $250 per night for incidentals. If you prefer not to have room charge privileges, an authorization will be obtained for $100 per night for incidentals. If the credit card is not charged, the authorized amount on the credit card is released by Atlantis 72 hours after hotel check-out. However, your bank provider may have a procedure which creates a longer hold period on your funds.
If a debit card is used, funds are withdrawn immediately and it may take 14 days or more to reimburse the account; therefore, debit cards are not recommended for use on deposits.
This confirmation is accurate as of the date of production. Subsequent revisions may have occurred in your reservation.
Alterations to this form will not transpose to your reservation and will not be honored.
Any advance complimentaries are applied to your preferred player account. Additional complimentaries may be available on a play-to-qualify basis.
Airfare, fees and gratuities are not included and are subject to change based on management’s discretion.
Complimentary room night(s) will not be charged room taxes. Casino rate room night(s) will be charged a tax up to 24% of the daily room rate.
This offer is non-transferable.
Management reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer at its sole discretion.

Anyone have any recent info on the VP pay tables there? Also, any info on the casino at Baha Mar? Not sure the signup promo on the web site is worth the cost of a taxi ride over there

Nothing good at either

Thanks goldfada and swbrad for your responses regarding the Atlantis fine print. Personally, I don’t find the machines at Atlantis very appealing for more than free play and a little play while getting some drinks. And I don’t trust the Atlantis accounting department or management (although it is a beautiful place).

So we will delay scheduling a trip to Atlantis. Perhaps some of you early-Atlantis-adopters can give some feedback on how this new (or at least new to me) mandated gambling works out.

The problem is they won't tell you exactly how much coin-in you need to lock in the comp. This leaves you at their mercy in terms of the possibility of being screwed. That said, it's been my experience in the Caribbean that if you give them the time on machines (4hrs) they demand they will often let everything else slide as long as you show decent theo. Your Caesars ADT has probably been watered down somewhat after tripping previously so what cumulative play you need to meet the standard of "up to normal levels of play" probably isn't as much as you might think. If Atlantis won't be more forthcoming try calling your host at Caesars and tell them Atlantis is being real non-transparant and you'd like some info as to what amt of play based on the theo in the a Caesars system they are expecting you to give. Ask them what your most recent avg trip theo has been for the last 3 trips.
