Cabaret Gone for good?

I see from the Entertainment calendar that the only events scheduled for April are for the Wolf Den & the Arena. Does anyone know if MS plans to reopen the Cabaret at all?

Most of the entertainment the bride & I enjoyed most were people appearing in the Cabaret. To us, it was the perfect venue, intimate size, great views from any seat, and very comfortable seating. Not to mention that the entertainers we enjoyed the best were those who wouldn't be able to fill the Arena.

I agree, it was my favorite venue to see a show also.

I know when it closed several people wrote their hosts but was told it was closed to reduced costs. I was told that it will either reopen in the spring or be converted to retail or meeting space.

Oh goodie, just what we need, maybe they can put in another Tommy Bahama ghost store that you'll never see anyone in. And then they can bring in Lady GaGa to the arena. Count me enthusiastically in!!!!

As Lucy might say, "Good grief, Charlie Brown!"

I am with you, the Cabaret always is enjoyable. They have been using the Cabaret for meetings. I have lost interest in Entertainment, but I am looking forward to the Sun, but hopefully we will be finding a new place to live. Royals to all. Ciao Don

I heard that because they halted construction on the new hotel and they have contracts with several vendors; some of these vendors are forcing the contract issues for having space at the Sun. The talk is that Fidelias will close and become a Bobby Flay restaurant. The bar at Birches is becoming a Bobby Flay burger place and the Cabaret is going to be the House of Blues. I'm not sure if they are going to take over the high limit area as well for more room.

Let's see which of these changes happens. I know that the Birches bar area is being transformed right now. I heard that there's also going to be a pizza place in that area as well (maybe in the escallator area).

Good luck and many Royals to all!
Jack

Has anyone received the postcard with the Sagamore April room offers? I haven't received mine and was just wondering. Thanks.

Fidelias is closing in May to make way for Bobby Flay's Bar America which is scheduled to open sometime in July. Bobby Burger Place with Frank Pepe Pizzeria and the food court sometime in June. About the Cabaret the House of Blues is going in there. The last I heard they will be getting rid of the slots and the high limit table game over there for more room.

Curiosity, where are you going to go for eggs, french toast and pancakes? Royals to all. Ciao Don
