ca tribal casinos

You're probably right in your thinking & I tend to agree with you. But to be
completely objective, can you accept that California's Gaming Commission is
much weaker than Nevada's. No, I do not have any news reports, stats, links,
etc. to back up that claim nor am I going to spend the time trying to prove it.
Even if I did, you could take it one step further & ask how reliable were the
sources.

This is a forum for opinions & it seems like people are always trying to win
an argument by having the last word or being able to cite supposedly "good"
sources of information. There is one link that I will dredge up if anyone wants
it. It's for how to judge the reliability of information sources when doing
research.

i disagree with the opinion below regarding why some tribal casinos
cheat. i am not aware of any news, governmental reports, civil
cases, criminal cases, administrative cases, etc. finding "some
Tribal casinos cheat." i would appreciate it if anyone would post a
link regarding any cheating by any ca tribal casino. i want to
compare any verified ca tribal casino cheating with the verified
nevada casino cheating (such as the venetian, and station casinos
jumbo bingo). i will definitely continue to play vp at ca tribal
casinos; sometimes i win, and the comps and cb are icing on the cake.>>

My opinion on this subject.

I have no idea if a few Indian Casinos cheat, the
problem in my opinion is that the state of California
has really done nothing to convince the public that
their gaming commission people have the power to stop
cheating if it existed. So people who have lost will
perhaps think there is cheating going on. Others will
think that if there is no real control then they can
cheat if they want to and if that is the situation
there will be a few instances at least.

My local casino never has spread the cards on a BJ
table for the players to see and make sure that all
cards are within the new decks put in play. The pit
just comes with six new decks and places them in a
shuffle machine. Now as a counter, I know they do not
remove tens and aces but a non counter loosing a lot
of money might be very suspicious. Add this to the
fact that this casino has no close by competition,
cheating becomes a real possibility in peoples minds.
One person commented to me, they cheat because they
can, not because they have to. Just copying a vegas
procedure would clear this up, so I ask why don't they
just do this???

You can not spread the interior of a machine but a
minimum payback could be required and spot checked by
the state. Getting this done right now is perhaps
politically impossible since the state only wants more
revenue from these casinos and would probably be
willing to have less control to get it.

Machines need to have their roms checked to make sure they are
approved and not modified versions. This checking of course needs to
be random and done by an independent board and the roms kept in case
they become evidence. This is one of many procedures followed by the
states of NV, NJ, MISS. And frauds have been found. Without this
check, the frauds will not be found. Are modified roms even illegal
in ca tribal casinos? I don't think they are. Most people don't even
understand the significance of modified rom chips.
