Howdy
If you are fortunate enough to win a big ticket item at a casino or anywhere
else for that matter...like a car and choose to donate it to your place of
worship or favorite charity are you still responsible for paying taxes on said
item?
Plus... if they choose to raffle it off as opposed to keeping it in house
does that make any difference in the tax implications to the donor or recipient?
