Business as usual at Suncoast

Today was the first time I've asked for a discretionary comp
from a floorperson at Suncoast since the recent talk that they
had been discontinued. I didn't have any problem getting two
buffet comps.

For reference purposes, I only play .25 FPDW at SC, have
averaged around $25,000/month of play since they opened
and ask them for a couple of buffets two or three times a month.

There really hasn't been much agreement that these discretionary comps have
been discontinued. In fact, I had a comp at Primo's for two just last week
(assuming $80K coin-in for two). The comp is good up to $100/couple. We've
been doing this a few times a year now with no problem (except for the
reservation being made!). IIRC, Jean Scott and maybe others were having
problems getting these comps because they only play on multi-point days. We
often play on just single-point days and have had no trouble. On the other
hand, if you need a room or RFB (which we don't, being locals), I've heard
things have tightened up, but have no personal knowledge of this.
