Brief TR...LVH and Caesars 3/28-3/31.

Being new to the scene, I was wondering about something I have seen written many times...
In this post, the writer mentions that they "put through 38K in 2.5 days"..I have seen other amounts listed, 225K ect. Does this mean the person "took" 38K, or 225K with them & spent it..Or started with a MUCH smaller amount, won & lost & continued to play on the initial bank roll over & over, eventually feeding the machine 38K or 225K ect...Assuming it is the latter, How do you know?? How can one figure out how much they cycle though? What if you change machines or casinos?

Hi,

My wife and I went to Vegas for the first time in two years last
week, putting through $38k in 2.5 days at the Hilton, and followed
that up with approximately $25-30k in one day's play at Caesars. We
played about 8 hours on the Super Times Pay machines, mostly 3-play
with some 5 and 10-play mixed in.

All told, we hit two royals, one on the nickle JOB at LVH (she was
killing time while I was in a poker tournament at Orleans) and one
at Caesars. Bottom line, we lost about $600, but made up $1200 at
Caesars that last day.

I wanted to see a host before we left Caesars, but I forgot (it was
late.) We cashed out $58 in CB when we thought we were finished
playing, but we got bumped off our flight, so we went back and
played another 4-5 hours. I'm not sure what to expect in future
offers from Caesars, as this was our first time playing there.

If you know how much it takes to earn a point, you can easily calculate
your approximate (or exact) coin-in. It is based on replaying your small
wins. If you are playing at the Palms where $1 = 1 point if you earn 14,000
points in a session you have put $14K through. At the Hard Rock it takes
$40 to earn a point, so if you earn 100 points you put $4K through.

But you've got to know how much it takes to earn a point. At Harrah's you
look at base points only.

Bill
