Boyd's b Connected Tiers, home casinos, etc.

We haven't done much at Boyd's properties for a couple of years, other than playing once in a while to keep the bonus credits alive. Now we're thinking of getting back into the family and are looking for some info.

In the past, it was very easy to find Tier Level information on Boyd Gaming's website. There were clear and significant differences between properties (regions) in both point requirements for each tier, and in how long you kept the tier once it was earned. I assume these differences still exist, but that the system is... shall we say... less than transparent.

Who can point me in the right direction? I could call every Boyd casino, but that would be a little tedious don't you think

TIA,

Mac McClellan

At every Boyd , is a full color brochure which fully explains the tier level. The requirements are the same at ALL boyd, basically X coin in within a certain time period. I just earned my Emerald Card , which they told me is good for a year. I would call up the slot club, and ask them to please mail you the brochure.
best...Tom

So, you've heard that it has changed now so that the tier score requirements and the length of time you stay in the tier are the same at all properties? That makes it even more strange that they don't have it on their website. I had thought they were concealing the differences between regions.

Thanks!

Mac

Main Street Station is a regular 2 night stay on our trips.
$150/FP and RFB. We just rcvd an offer from their IP in Biloxi.
That's the first time from a different Boyd casino that I can recall.

This caught my eye on the wiki about Boyd:
"....In 1984, after leveling a $3 million fine against the Stardust for skimming, the Nevada Gaming Commission asked to Boyds to run the property's gaming operations. When the Stardust was taken over by the reputable Boyd family, they were surprised by its huge profits, now that every penny of income was being recorded. Ex-FBI agent William F. Roemer Jr., longtime senior agent of the FBI's organized-crime squad in Chicago and an expert in Las Vegas doings, said, "The amount of skim had been so heavy that the profit and loss statement did not present a true picture of the gold mine that the Stardust was."[5] After several years of successful operations, Boyd Gaming officially acquired the Stardust and Fremont in 1985..."

If the Stardust was such a "gold mine," why did Boyd demolish it?

Just returned from a 2 night stay at the Wynn and I couldn't find any 8/5 bonus in 25 cents or $1.00. Could the casino monitor verify and update the listing.

I also took a cab to the HRH for their Pick-your-Poison promo and did well. On Tuesday got $50 in free play and a ceramic bowl. This morning I only got 4 swipes and got $15 in free play and another gift that I could redeem because I was there at 5am.

nope, never had any $1/25c bonus - the vpfree listing is correct now. What they are wrong about is that they do have 9/7 db in $, and
9/6 ddb in quarter...nuff said...Tom

Not true. There was a 10 8/5 $1 bonus machine progressive bank at Encore (OK. Encore, not Wynn!) up until about 18 months ago. My son hit a $4,200 RF there a bit before they went away.
