Boyd tier points change?

So here's a strange one. My wife had 150 tier credits after the August conversion so it wasn't worthwhile playing on
her card so she didn't. I looked the other day and she now has 773 tier credits and has Sapphire card status. Does
anyone know what's going on here??

I received a letter today from Bconnected dated 11/26 explaining why
they added tier credits. It says they added tier credits to my account
as a thank you for my "continued loyalty over the past year".

In my case they added over 10,000 tier credits which put me just over
the 15,000 needed for Emerald good through 2019.

It sounds like Boyd is backing down on some of their changes. Maybe they don’t want to lose too many of their Emerald level players.

I suspect you met the requirement for emerald status in 2019 before the tier point conversion. The added points bring the total to the required points for emerald under the new system. I expect the tier points expire on 1 January 2019.

Thanks to all that responded, I finally got the postcard today saying that they added the 300 tier credits as a “Thank You”

I already had planned a trip to the IP in Bolixi to play for my Sapphire renewal but discovered something quite disturbing while I was there. Playing the 15/9 DW at the bar yielded no tier credits. Thankfully I only ran $250 thru the machine before checking. I didn’t bother to check any other games on the bartops, I just decided to leave at that point and doubt I will be back.
