Thank you for the helpful information. A friend of mine put in $200 coin-in on a 7-5 Bonus Poker machine, just to test out the tier credits he would receive. He received 8 total. Which by your equations it sounds right. Except I think he was supposed to get 2X for being Ruby. Did they forget, or did they give him 4 credits for his play and doubled it?
Of course, he got nothing as for b-connected points. What kind of a crazy person thought this was a good way to market? “Hi, welcome to Boyd, we will start you off as Ruby, and you’ll get no points. Enjoy your stay.”

I have been checking how much coin-in it has taken to earn tier credits every time I have played at a Boyd casino since the late August changes. The rates on 8/5 BP and NSUD have agreed every time with the rates previously posted here.
99.17% BP = 0.50 / (1-99.17%) = $60 coin-in per tier credit
99.73% NSUD = 0.50 / (1-99.73%) = $185 coin-in per tier credit
