taken over the Coast Casinos.
Whoa! That's big news. I found the story at http://tinyurl.com/38fqx
They're calling it a merger, even though the article says 'Coast will
become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Boyd Gaming'.

While it is true Michael Gaughan will still head up the Coast
casino's, the really big question is for how long ???
Just curious, but is Michael Gaughan the father of (or related to)
the young Las Vegas NASCAR driver named Gaughan? He was interviewed
on TV yesterday and it was mentioned he also played on the Georgetown
basketball team in the early 90's when the coach was John Thompson
(also a LV resident now).
