Several people including myself have gotten cross marketing while
others have not. From my observations I think 3 things have to happen.
1) Have a Card for the Borgata and a Boyd property.
1a) Both must have the same information [name/address/etc](this is a
guess)
2)Give the LV prop some small play so they know you exist.
3)Give the Borgata measurably more play then the LV prop.
After that you seem to get offers. As I said this is from a small
group that I have observed. It could also just be random trying to get
people to LV based on money spent at the Borgata. #s 2 and 3 are a
guess #1 seems to be necessary. I didn't get squat from the Stardust
till 2004 when I got a card from the Borgata.

"I like staying on the strip and I am willing to pay for it. Thats
justme. I figure on moving some of my AC play to The Borgata to get
more onBoyd's radar for EP offers when it opens. Once again playing
for compswhich is bad but it's part of the game."
To my knowledge, Boyd and MGM Mirage have not done any cross
marketing with their Las Vegas properties based on play at the
Borgata. (You can use Borgata comp dollars but who has a lot of those?)
Do you know someone who has gotten decent Las Vegas offers based on
play at the Borgata?
