BOYCOTT STATIONS STARTING TODAY!

The Stations loan extension ends around July 17.
Boycotting may tip the boat over... then what would youhave? All your points lose their value, etc etc.

If you want to start making a statement to Stations Casinos, that you are now very unhappy about their current mailer, it's time to let them know how mad you are.

So I'm asking all of you to boycott Stations starting today and lasting for the next two weeks. That shouldn't be too hard to do. After all, let's face it, you need a change of pace anyway!

If I want to gamble in Calif., I have to travel about 40 minutes to most Indian casinos here. From one side of Vegas to another is only about 30 minutes. Mostly the NW side of town will be affected since Stations owns almost everything in that area.

But get out there and try the other casinos. Stop being so lazy. Go to the M and South Point. Find out what the Eastside Cannery is all about. See what the Boyd Group is willing to give you. Try it for two weeks and then see what Stations comes back with as their next August offer. I'll bet there's a BIG difference.

If Station files for bankruptcy you would no more lose your points than you lose your frequent flyer miles when your airline files for bankruptcy - it does not happen unless the business actually closes. It is simply a business decision, bankruptcy does not impact loyalty reward programs, even points that can be redeemed for cash because the other creditors know the importance to the continuing business value to honor these things.

That said, there is nothing to stop Station from devaluing its points in or out of bankruptcy - just like a country devalues its currency. As Station is now cutting back like mad - I would be nervous about carrying a big balance there anyway.
