Bourbon Street?

I attend an April conference at the Flamingo every two years and
researched the nearest FPDW to be at the Tuscany. Since I would be
walking past it, I checked on the Barbary Coast and found that it had
changed to Bill's. Couldn't find any info on Bourbon Street on vpFREE
or Cheapo Vegas or Vegas.com, so I yahoo searched for their website:

http://www.bourbonstreethotel.com/index.htm

Couldn't understand the lack of info until the second search page had
an article that said they had closed October 2005? Is that so?
Anyways, the website is still up and running...

And if anybody knows of any closer FPDW to the Flamingo, please feel
free to respond. TIA

There are three quarter FPDW listed for the Tropicana. I think that's
a heck of a lot closer than walking to Tuscany?

Although the info is old and has not been monitored in while, the
Tropicana is reported to have the following:

FPDW -- (1) 25c slant-top near promotion area; (1) 25c slant-top
near Fish Bar; and (1) 25c slant-top near the men's room next to
gift shop.

About the same distance as Tuscany, but on the strip, the New
Frontier has FPDW: (5) 25c PROG slant-tops between front entrance
change booth and slot club

Tuscany is 5c x 10 coin, the others are 25c x 5 coin.

You might want to check into some free shuttles. Some of these may
require fewer steps from the Flamingo and get you off-strip casinos
with FPDW.

Thanks to all,

I might try the Harrah's to Sam's Town shuttle since Harrah's is
shorter or the same distance from the Flamingo. Seems Sam's Town is a
much more popular choice when compared to Tuscany.

Question for the poster who suggested the New Frontier and Tropicana,
aren't these about another mile or so from the Flamingo when compared
to the walk to the Tuscany? I'm basing this on google maps distances
so maybe I'm just missing something...

For what it's worth the Tuscany is nicer
than the other options. I find the Trop and
NF to be dumps. Tuscany may get a few
sketchy locals but overall is relatively
new and clean. Additionally if you're not
that serious a gambler why risk 1.25 per hand
when you can risk 0.50/hand. Just a thought.
