Boulder Station TP progressive MIA

The March LVA video poker column by John Kelley reports the Boulder
Station Triple Play progressive with NSUD as MIA. John goes on to
say "the removal of this popular bank was accompanied by tears, raised
voices, and rudeness all around." I would imagine so. I don't recall
reading on this forum about this loss or the subsequent riot but
perhaps I missed it. The source is certainly reliable. I fear the same
game at Fiesta Henderson will not live much longer as the Boulder
refugees will put more pressure on those machines by camping out there.

Are there any other Triple Play progressives other than FH with either
10/7 DB or NSUD still alive?

Don

John was wrong. The bank is still there.

Crud. I hate it when that happens.

I must have had them mixed up with another bank in the area? I thought the slant-top progressive bank by Kixx was no more, as of a couple of weeks back?

John, I think you have them confused with the bank of 25c/50c/$1
Optimum Play machines. The bank was converted from slant tops to
uprights, turned at a 90 degree angle, and moved about 15 feet
southwest.

Ah. Thank you. I take it the newly installed uprights are NOT full-pay?

John

(PS: The upside about needing to write a retraction is that I already have some material for next months' column!)

No, I believe the menu and paytables are identical to the previous
machines. All that changed was they were converted to uprights and
moved a few yards away. I don't know if the reported tears were due
to the change to upright machine design or were prior to realization
that the games were to reappear nearby.

Ah. Thank you. I take it the newly installed uprights are NOT full-

pay?
