Congrats Mel,
Hopefully, this is the start of several. They are tough to come by at MS. My last royal was Dec 2005. I'll be heading to A/C tomorrow. I'm planning to cut back on MS this year in favor of A/C and Vegas.

My Sachem wife and this lowly Brave are off to a losing start this
year. We know its all part of the law of big numbers.
We have lost $8K at MS @ $400K action (PE play) = 2% loss rate over
80K hands more. It sucks when your losing.
But we know over millions of hands MS is proivding a fair bet on this
offering. I am not going to go down the road about hacked machines.

To help temper the loses, Sachem wife gets phone call on Thursday
afternoon to come and pick up her Bose radio on Friday night. Somehow
she got on the list. Maybe its the high actual loss the past few
sessions. So we spent Friday night at MS and lost another $2K.
In life shit happens including bad gambling luck.

I understand NE people finding the convenience of the Sun, but for
this LongIslander its not a good deal..no cashback very limited
play, stores that basically have nothing to offer for most males. I
only go there when I want to get away for the day and can hop an
afternoon bus which allows me to do my daily routines. Harrahs is
offering 3x CB everyday this month and most of the other casinos are
offering multiplier CB days on various dates.

3x CB at Harrahs is pathetic. Atlantic City is depressing. Put me on a
plane to Nevada. In the interim, I appreciate MS offering a fair bet.

competetive with AC.

We have a one week trip to Vegas planned end of March. $1,200
bounceback waiting. Sweet - adds 1% to EV.

--- I agree with you Haaljo. MS is easy for an overnight stay with
Pickum and JOB it is a decent play. We get great seats at any concert
we want and the 1.1% comps are fine. We have gotten three hdtv's and
the price at the discovery store is only about 15% higher than buying
it locally.

3x CB at Harrahs is pathetic.

Well that remains to be seen. All AC HET properties are offering 3x CB
in March. If they play it "straight" ( and I'm not saying they will),
then depending on casino your 3x CB will range from approx. .75-1.3 %

To me gambling and whether you are or aren't an AP depends on only one
thing..the money. Without CB I don't see how any VP player at the Sun
can consider themselves an AP. I just don't consider comp part of the
equation. I know that some people do.
