I'm happy to report that Hedy and I got back almost all of our Las Vegas
trip losses last weekend at the Borgata thanks to some timely hits on Super
Times Pay (among them a straight flush with an 8X multiplier and a DEALT quad
with a 4X multiplier on triple play) but the most exciting news of all is that
the Borg buffet now has peeled, fresh shrimp in its exquisite buffet.
We're pretty sure that this is a new gastronomic development, although we've
been away from AC for awhile so it may have come about during our hiatus.
However, it was nice to see the mounds of fresh shrimp and the resulting lines
when we first tried the buffet last Saturday. It just furthers our opinion
that the Borg buffet is easily AC's best ... and the $10 charge for Black Label
customers for breakfast, lunch or dinner continues to be the best bargain in
town.
We also found it interesting that when we had breakfast Sunday morning (it's
actually a brunch on Sunday) that the shrimp were also available when the
buffet opened at 8 a.m.
We're back in AC tomorrow for three nights, staying at Harrah's and seeing
"Movin' Out." Has anyone seen it? Any comments?
We're also thinking about having brunch Sunday at one of the Harrah's
properties in AC. A few years back we had brunch at Bally's Steakhouse and it was
great. Is it still one of the best?? Does anyone have any updates??

PS: Thanks to all who commented on the negative email we received about our
Vegas trip, both on the various boards and by private email. Rest assured we
just let it all roll off our backs. But it's nice to know that the majority
like our TR's.
