Boomtown

Ah but there is. Recharged batteries by staying in my room all day Sat
watching college football. No upsets but enjoyed the USC - Oregon track meet &
used Boomtown's wi-fi to catch up on NetFlix shows -- had more fun
watching it on iPad than at home due to faster wi-fi. You're right about the
dining though. Did Cassidy's 4 times for lunch & dinner & pleased with
selections but did go to Silver Legacy late one night because didn't want Peet's
sandwiches.

When first getting into Boomtown, chatted with a lady from Reno. Turns out
she drops off her kids at the arcade because they like it there. Don't
know much about arcades but I guess that's a thumbs up. When I think about it,
Grand Sierra, Atlantis & Circus Circus are the others that have good-sized
arcades. Anyone have any opinions about which ones they like? Occasionally
I have kids to entertain & have usually defaulted to Circus with a bunch
of arcade coupons.

I love Boomtown...but it's just so limited, that there's NOTHING else
there to do BUT gamble...and no place to really eat...Since M1 took it over I
haven't been back (actually, gave them no play for 2 years and continued to
get 2 nights a week + $10 cash per week)

GSR arcade tops the list because they have a bowling alley there...and mini golf/gokarts when the weather is nice...

A lot depends on the ages of the kids; young kids and teens are worlds apart. When my son was a young teen he rated Boomtown as the best because of the variety and quantity of the games. He rated JANugget as second. He thought GSR was ok, but they had a lack of arcade games (certainly not lacking for room down there, though).
