Boomtown Bossier City

Hi All,

Does anyone know how Boomtown calculates/defines a "trip" or a player's
daily average for determining free play/bounceback? For example, would
it be a disadvantage on an overnight stay to play 8 or 10 hours the
first day, then just a couple of hours on the second day?

Merry Christmas to everyone!

Thanks in advance for any help,

Noosarazoo

Hi Noosarazoo,
Not the answer you'd be looking for but, since the Boomtown doesn't
have any thing worth playing (i.e. short pay tables) why would you
play there when the Horseshoe and the Eldorado both have better VP
plays than they do? I was over checking out their games while
redeeming a coupon they sent ( was a surprize to get one since i
haven't played there since they took our their good games, what like
a year ago??),and i didn't see any games worth playing except $5
Jacks or Better and i don't have the budget for that monster. I
wouldn't have gone then but who am i to turn down $50 of slot play,
made $30 on a 8/6 JB game and left.
Hope you get the answer your looking for! Just had to add my two
cents??

Hi, James -

Actually, Boomtown has a few multi-line machines that offer close to
Lousiana's maximum legal payback. Their $5 JOB cuts the SF payoff
to 239 coins which bumps the payback down to 99.52% or so. AFAIK,
their best game is quarter Pick 'Em at 99.95%, but I don't enjoy
that particular game all that much. For some reason it just seems
boring to me.

Your 2 cents are most welcome & thanks for bumping the thread back
into consciousness!

Merry Christmas!

Thanks. I'd not checked the whole pay table since i wasn't going to
play it. But it figures! With lack of full pay Jacks and no NSU
Deuces i won't be playing there. There are several reason i don't
like Pick-em and boring does come to mind. We have switched from the
El' to Horseshoe for our home base casino because of the better VP,
not gobs better, just slighly. It has paid off for our trip to LV in
May. With the Diamond card we can get 5 nights for $200 and that will
do nicely. There are a lot of offers for free rooms, one which we
will use in Laughlin when we drive out.
You say, " a few", must be very few. We checked out the pay tables on
several around the casino and didn't find any i'd play? Why play 8/6
Jacks when you can play the 9/6 version just down the street? But,
you do have to be happy with the casino of choice!

Good luck!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

I've added these to the DataBase:

The DataBase shows 25c (3/5 Play) NSUD and
9/6 JoB.

If someone will look at the DataBase and give me
an update on what should and shouldbn't be there,
I'll correct it.

We have an over night scheduled the 28 at the HS, if we get the time
i'll check more carefully to see if any of these are available. The
last few times i've checked i couldn't find any? The four i use to
play on went MIA a long time ago! The data base isn't being kept up i
know, not enough interest i guess.
Thanks anyway!

All reports are appreciated.

The DataBase does contain the latest inventory reports
that vpFREE members have chosen to share.
