Book or Site on JOB 9/6 Progressive

HI

Any one have info on the above?

Ralph

Ralph,

I don't think you're going to get many replies to this question,
because I don't know of any books or sites out there devoted to
specifically 9/6 JOB Progressives. Many, many years ago, Stanford
Wong wrote a book called (I think), Professional Video Poker. I
understand that this book was concerned mostly with playing
progressive 8/5 JOB machines.

With all of the good software available today, there really isn't
much need for books that cover progressives. Just take Tomski's
strategy generator, or Frugal VP, change the Royal value to whatever
you like, and print out a strategy chart. The chart may not be
absolutely perfect (i.e. it may not account for every penalty card
situation), but it should be pretty darn close. You can then go into
the casino armed with a whole series of strategy charts for various
Royal levels. If the Royal is at - say 6113 coins, just pull out
your 6000 coin strategy chart and start playing. Your strategy will
be very accurate (not perfect, but very good), and it is a practical
approach to playing progressives.
